We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information collected automatically through your use of the Services. Information you provide may include your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, payment and billing information, and any information you choose to submit in connection with the use of the Services, including information related to yourself or an individual for whom you are coordinating care. This may include medications, appointments, contact information, notes, documents, care plans, and other related content.
You may also choose to provide information relating to health, care coordination, or medical history, including but not limited to conditions, diagnoses, symptoms, medications, treatment plans, provider information, appointment details, and care preferences (collectively, “Health Information”). You are not required to provide Health Information, but certain features of the Services may depend on such information.
If you provide information about another individual, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents, and legal authority to disclose such information and to permit its use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may also automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including device and browser type, IP address, and interactions with the Services, for purposes of maintaining, improving, and securing the platform.
We use the information we collect for legitimate business purposes, including to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services, to organize and manage care-related information, to facilitate collaboration among individuals within your designated care circle, to provide care coordination support, to communicate with you regarding your account and use of the Services, to develop new features and functionality, and to ensure the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the platform.
We recognize that Health Information is highly sensitive and warrants heightened protection. We use Health Information solely as necessary to provide the Services, including facilitating organization, coordination, and sharing of such information in accordance with your instructions and actions within the platform. We do not sell Health Information. Any use of Health Information is limited to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as otherwise authorized by you.
We do not share your information except as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise authorized by you. By using the Services, you acknowledge that the platform is designed to facilitate the sharing of information among individuals you designate.
Where you invite, add, or grant access to individuals within your care circle, those individuals may view, access, and interact with the information you have made available to them, including personal and Health Information. You acknowledge and agree that Hello Raya, LLC does not control, monitor, or assume responsibility for how such individuals use, disclose, or safeguard that information once access has been granted.
Authorized Care Coordinators may access and use your information as necessary to provide coordination, organizational support, and related services, and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
We may also share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, payment processing, and communication services, provided that such service providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of such information.
If you elect to engage with third-party providers or services, we may facilitate the sharing of information as reasonably necessary to support such coordination, and you acknowledge that such third parties are independent and not under the control of Hello Raya, LLC, and that we are not responsible for their practices.
We may further disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, our Services, or others.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message services.
Raya Health is not a healthcare provider. At this time, Hello Raya, LLC may not operate as a covered entity or business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) in all cases. While we implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, the Services may not meet all HIPAA regulatory requirements, and certain communications or features may not be fully HIPAA-compliant. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept these limitations, and you further acknowledge that Raya Health is actively working toward HIPAA compliance.
Raya Health intends to support HIPAA-compliant workflows and may enter into Business Associate Agreements (“BAAs”) with qualified customers or partners; upon formally operating as a Business Associate, additional terms may apply and a separate BAA may govern the use, disclosure, and safeguarding of protected health information, and in the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and an executed BAA, the terms of the BAA shall control with respect to such protected health information.
We may communicate with you via email, SMS, or platform notifications in connection with your use of the Services, including for account-related updates, care coordination support, reminders, and service-related communications. You may manage certain communication preferences within your account; however, you acknowledge that certain communications are necessary for the operation of the Services.
Hello Raya, LLC implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated information, subject to applicable legal, contractual, and operational requirements.
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information. You may also control how information is shared within your care circle and manage access permissions. Requests may be submitted through the contact information provided below.
The Services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. If you provide information about a minor, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to do so.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
